Current Knitting Project

I am going to make these dish cloths for my friend as a house warming gift:

It is a pattern from Lion Brand, however I purchased Bernat cotton to make them.

Bernat Handicrafter Cotton
  • Natural, soft absorbent cotton
  • Most popular yarn weight—knitting worsted
  • Ideal for knit, crochet, & craft projects
  • Easy care, easy use
  • Known for its exceptional quality and colors

Do Not Bleach. Do Not Iron / Press. Do Not Dry-Clean. Extract Excess Water, Dry Flat. Machine wash, water not exceeding 30 degrees Celcius, delicate/gentle setting
Care: Machine dryable  Machine washable
The colours I choose are: Indigo, Country Red, Sage Green and Hot Purple!  My friend's kitchen is black and white so I thought a variety of colours would be nice.

Calling all book bloggers...

I'm looking for some new book/reading blogs to follow.  I have a hard time finding enjoyable ones because the ones I keep finding are people who must do nothing but read and basically read a book/day.  That is not me...I'm doing amazing if I can read a book/week (which I usually can't).  Or I either find bloggers who only read serious books or bloggers who read so much pop culture books - again, not me...I like to mix it up!

Any suggestions out there?

Too much fun!

Sorry for the nonexistent posts lately, what can I say, summertime fun!

I have already accomplished one of July goals:  buy a Kobo and start reading ‘Wild’.  I LOVE my Kobo – wasn’t sure if I would…but I am converted!  Actually, I’m just joking cause I totally still love reading a real book but I do enjoy my Kobo and still get engrossed in the story even though it is on a screen.  So now I am balancing my real book / electronic book readings…oh, the tough life I have!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and that I will be posting about some books I have read lately and tell you about my latest knitting projects (people I know need to stop getting pregnant)!

Talk soon…
